Mortgage Production Manager

Mortgage Production Manager needs 5 years experience in mortgage origination, with at least 2 years in a leadership or production management role.

Production Manager requires:

• Production Manager, Leadership, Recruit, Hire, Train Loan Officers, Loan Officers, NMLS, FNMA, FHA, VA guidelines, Encompass LOS, Retail Mortgage
• Deep understanding of FNMA/FHA/VA guidelines, Encompass LOS, and retail mortgage operations.
• Proven track record of recruiting and developing successful Loan Officers.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills — able to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
• NMLS license preferred (active or previously held).
• Must reside within commuting distance of Oak Lawn, IL.
• 5 years experience in mortgage origination

• Proven experience recruiting, hiring, and training Loan Officers

• Demonstrated management experience with capability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable
• Potential to move up into an executive leadership role if they grow this
• Ability to drive origination growth through coaching, lead management, and referral development
• Bachelors degree
• Experience at an independent mortgage bank or smaller lending institution
• Prior exposure to MBS (Mortgage-Backed Securities) or understanding of servicing operations

Production Manager duties:

• Drive origination growth through coaching, lead management, and referral-partner engagement.
• Track key metrics (volume, pull-through, turn times, quality) and report to senior leadership.
• Support Loan Officers in building referral networks with real estate agents, builders, and financial professionals.
