Data/Business Analyst needs 3 years of experience in System Support or Analytics

Data/Business Analyst requires:

  • Advanced Data Analytical, Business Analytics, and Computer Software skills preferred

  • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of CRA regulatory framework, lending/investment reporting rules, and related compliance requirements
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to manage large, complex datasets
  • Skilled in managing ad hoc requests under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey findings to multiple levels of leadership
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Programming and Software Skills - Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Power Point, Excel, (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally on a team (Required)
  • CRA Knowledge (Highly desired)
  • Communication Skills - Verbal, Presentation, Written (Highly desired)

Data/Business Analyst duties:

  • Responsible for complex reporting, analytics, and compliance support activities.
  • Ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of CRA-related data, while also supporting strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Partners with business units, compliance, and senior leadership to maintain regulatory alignment and enhance the banks CRA performance monitoring framework.
  • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that monitor CRA lending, investment, and service activity across multiple business lines.
  • Develop and manage Alteryx workflows to automate large-scale data preparation, cleansing, and validation processes.
  • Leverage advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, VBA/macros when applicable) to perform ad hoc analysis and produce reporting templates.
  • Ensure all data sources are accurate, reconciled, and compliant with regulatory standards
  • Support preparation of quarterly and annual CRA regulatory submissions, ensuring data integrity and readiness for examiner review
  • Document business rules, data definitions, and process flows to ensure consistency and repeatability of reporting
