Construction Safety Manager needs 3 years of experience in an EHS-related field or a bachelor's degree in EHS or a related field.
Construction Safety Manager requires:
- Construction safety management experience required.
- OSHA 30 required.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations relating to the commercial construction industry.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving personnel issues in the workplace.
- Experience with workers compensation and case management.
- Strong document management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have solid employee training development and presentation skills.

Construction Safety Manager duties:
- Identify potential safety hazards on construction sites and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish site-specific safety plans and procedures.
- Ensure that all construction activities adhere to relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, staff certifications, incident reports, and OSHA record keeping.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple job sites.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state/local regulations.
