Position: US Supply Chain Manager - IGTZG
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day per week on site in Ortigas, Pasig)
Schedule: Night Shift 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM PH Time, subject to DST)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end materials management processes. This role is responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating procurement activities, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and able to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or global supply chain operations.
- Proven experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and MS Office (Excel required).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Amenable to work on a night shift schedule and in a hybrid (1/week onsite) work arrangement
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management & Procurement
- Monitor inventory levels across all product lines and identify items requiring replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Identify opportunities to reduce inventory on hand while maintaining operational readiness.
- Request, review, and compare vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and lead-time requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to forecast material needs and support production and customer demands.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and evaluate new supplier options as needed.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines to support cost savings and service-level objectives.
- Resolve any supply, delivery, or quality issues in partnership with suppliers.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate accurate and timely reports for upper management, including inventory metrics, cost analyses, and supply chain performance indicators.
- Prepare customer-specific reports as required, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Identify and communicate trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain.
Process Improvement
- Analyze current supply chain workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the development and implementation of new systems, tools, or processes to enhance visibility and operational performance.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.
