About the Position
We are seeking an Audit Manager to join one of our clients. In this role, you will lead audit engagements from planning through final wrap-up, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient execution of the audit process. You will work closely with clients, supervise audit staff, and drive engagements forward while maintaining professional standards and deadlines.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing the full audit lifecycle, mentoring team members, and delivering partner-ready audit files. You'll also gain exposure to complex audit areas such as equity and share-based compensation, while working with a collaborative and high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire audit engagement process independently, from planning through completion
- Perform detailed risk assessments during the planning phase, identifying significant accounts and key risk areas
- Supervise and coordinate 2–4 audit staff members, providing guidance, feedback, and review of work
- Communicate directly with clients to request information, address audit matters, and keep engagements on track
- Identify and resolve audit issues that arise during engagements
- Review staff workpapers and ensure delivery of a complete, partner-ready audit file
- Perform and review audit procedures related to equity and share-based compensation
- Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with applicable professional standards and firm methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Extensive audit experience, preferably within a public accounting firm
- Proven experience managing full audit engagements from planning through final wrap-up
- Prior experience supervising and mentoring audit staff (typically overseeing 2–4 team members)
- Strong knowledge of audit planning, risk assessment, and audit procedures
- Experience auditing equity and share-based compensation
- Experience auditing public companies or engagements performed under standards of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is strongly preferred
- Excellent client communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a night shift schedule and hybrid setup
