Responsibilities:
- Perform audit and/or accounting necessary procedures as needed or as assigned;
- Analyze financial data to verify the accuracy and integrity of the information;
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to seniors and managers;
- Prepare clear, concise, and objective work papers and reports for management's consideration;
- Use technology to continually learn and enhance service delivery
- Meet the billable hours set by the Client;
- Handle and manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects and engagements on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction;
- Completion of tasks/projects in accordance with the defined procedures and within quality parameters with minimal errors;
- Assist the senior members in conducting audits, reviews, and compilations;
- Identify, perform research to solve issues, and communicate accounting and auditing issues to seniors and managers;
- Stay informed of current economic developments relevant to each client's business and industry;
- Use technology to continually learn and enhance service delivery;
- Demonstrate professionalism; and
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary, and ability to work additional hours as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
- With 2 to 3 years of working experience in external audit
- Has excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles; knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or GAAS
- Experience in implementing, and assessing deficiencies of internal controls, and testing controls in accordance with AICPA standards
- Ability to utilize advanced Excel tools, including Pivot Tables, VLookup
- Works well in a team as well as individually
- Communication/People skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
- Willing to work the night shift
