About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper for one of our clients. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and ensuring their financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant. You will collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional service and help our clients succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for clients.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Prepare financial reports (e.g., profit and loss statements, balance sheets).
  • Communicate with staff to resolve financial discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
  • Certified Public Accountant is highly desirable
  • Proven 5-8 years experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
  • Has working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online versions.
  • Prior experience with Bill.com, Microsoft Teams and OneNote are a plus.
  • Certification in Bookkeeping or related field is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Amenable to work in a hybrid work arrangement
  • Willing to work on a night shift schedule
