Your Impact

As the project manager, you will be responsible for client servicing and operations for clients based in the North and South American Regions. This is a Work Remote role and requires telephonic support for North America. You will be part of the world-class international service delivery team of Globibo. You will work with outstanding colleagues to handle challenging projects spanning different countries, customers, and services. As members of the Delivery Centers, you will coordinate projects from the biggest companies and brands in the world. Together with our international sales and account managers, you will drive translation and interpretation projects as well as training workshops, and language courses.

Responsibilities

Project Managers are part of the world-class international Service Delivery Team of Globibo. Join hands with outstanding colleagues to handle challenging projects spanning different countries, customers, and services. As members of the Delivery Centers, you will coordinate projects from the biggest companies and brands in the world. Together with our international sales and account managers, you will primarily drive translation & interpretation projects, Recruitment, and Vendor Management.

  • Managing end to end sourcing of Localization services

  • Manage all recruitment activities for new linguists

  • Assist sales team with client proposals and manage the test translation process within delivery team

  • Evaluate and maintain data integrity of vendor databases, records, templates, instructions, training materials, procedures and other related documents

  • Continually develop creative ways to source new vendors

  • Identify vendors who meet targeted guidelines, negotiate rates and other work arrangements and identify opportunities to develop strategic pricing models

  • Ensure there is a queue of pre-selected vendors that are suitable for future (short to long term) projects depending on constantly changing needs

  • Maintain awareness of industry standards, practices, tools, and resources regarding vendors and propose revisions to company direction, operation and policies accordingly

  • Project Management

  • Determine project scope with Account Managers (or clients)

  • Drive resource allocation and handover

  • Ensure Quality Standards of project are met

  • Manage Customer Interaction and Change Management

  • Develop relationships with partners to foster reliability and productivity

  • Planning the project by understanding the scope, determining the resource and developing the project schedule.

  • Executing the project according to the project plan/timelines/schedules

  • Managing complex projects for corporate and public sector clients ensuring quality delivery on time and in budget

  • Maintaining records as required and adhering to ISO procedure and requirements.

  • Troubleshooting and analyzing root cause in order to initiate improvements

  • Qualifications and Skills

    Your Potential Profile

    • Required education-At least a Bachelor’s degree in Translations (or equivalent) Business, Finance, Management or Economics, preferably a Master's or MBA
    • 5-8 years of experience in managing regional operations (Specifically in Localization and Translation)
    • Strong managerial, interpersonal and communication skills; strong negotiating skills; ability to think strategically; forward-thinking
    • Able to work effectively with other technical and management professionals of diverse occupational and cultural backgrounds in a cooperative team environment
    • Fluency in English is a must
