Job Description:

  • Manage the full spectrum of HR operations for the Nursing team and provide professional advice on HR policies, procedures and labour legislations.
  • Work closely with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) to ensure that nurses are in compliance with the regulations stipulated by SNB, including but not limited to, possessing the required registration and licence for clinical practice.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with Nursing Lead, Clinical Operations and HR Manpower Planning team on Nursing manpower requirements, including but not limited to, nurses deployment within the group, nesting plans, etc.
  • Contribute proactively as a HR resource person in the Nursing Manpower Planning and Recruitment Workgroup in formulating resourcing strategies to drive and deliver hiring plans to meet the Nursing manpower demands.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer to on-boarding of new staff members for the Nursing team.
  • Research, recommend and plan for HRs participation in outreach events, with the aim of attracting and building a strong pipeline of nursing talents for Nursing scholarships and sponsorships. Work on preliminary designs for outreach brochures and collaterals before seeking clearance from Communications.
  • Serve as Secretariat for HR-initiated meetings with the Nursing team and record minutes/notes of meeting.
  • Partner the group Centres of Excellence and relevant stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • At least one year of HR experience in a hospital setting (nursing portfolio). Candidates with more than one year of HR experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager position.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.
  • Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with a high degree of initiative and independence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relations with different stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
