About the job Customer Service Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing / Vision System)
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, installation, setup, and commissioning of semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and optical issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Execute machine upgrades, calibration, and customer buy-off testing according to technical specifications.
- Provide technical support to customers via on-site service, remote calls, and user training.
- Prepare service reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience supporting semiconductor equipment, high-precision/automated machine.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor machines, inspection systems, or vision system.
- Good understanding of machine vision components including cameras, lenses, and optical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with good communication ability and willingness to travel for onsite support.
