About the Role

We are looking for a motivated R&D Lab Technician to support our application engineers and scientists in laboratory testing and material evaluation activities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on laboratory work and can work independently after structured training on equipment, processes, and data collection methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application testing using laboratory equipment such as stencil printers, dispensers, die-attach bonders, and reflow ovens.

• Conduct measurements and analyses including Bond Line Thickness (BLT), X-ray void analysis, optical/microscope imaging, and die shear testing.

• Support R&D experiments and material evaluations in collaboration with engineers and scientists.

• Operate laboratory tools independently after completing required training.

• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of test results, observations, and procedures.

• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

• Ensure good laboratory housekeeping and strict adherence to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, microscopes, and data collection is preferred.

• Ability to work independently after training while following established procedures.

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

• Comfortable working in a laboratory-based environment.
