Job Description

1. Strategic Planning & Market Growth

  • Localize Strategy: Translate the global corporate vision into a comprehensive, actionable local business plan tailored to market dynamics.
  • Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and execute new commercial opportunities, distribution channels, and market segments to increase market share.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market trends, and economic indicators to proactively pivot local strategy.

2. Financial Management & P&L Ownership

  • P&L Responsibility: Assume full accountability for the country's financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability targets.
  • Budgeting: Design, track, and optimize annual operational budgets, ensuring efficient resource and capital allocation.
  • Reporting: Deliver regular, transparent financial forecasts and operational updates to regional and global executive leadership.

3. Operational Excellence & Team Leadership

  • Build Talent: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing local team across key functions like sales, operations, marketing, and customer support.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish clear local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive accountability across all departments.
  • Efficiency: Streamline local operational workflows to improve productivity, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.

4. Stakeholder Management & Brand Advocacy

  • Partnerships: Build and maintain strong executive relationships with major clients, suppliers, and strategic business partners.
  • Public Relations: Act as the primary corporate spokesperson and legal face of the company to local media, industry bodies, and the public.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to local labor laws, financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive commercial and operational management experience, including at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Country Head) with proven P&L responsibility.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and manage cross-functional, multicultural teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and a track record of driving revenue growth in international business environments.
