M&E Manager | Building & Construction | Central

Jobscope:

• Ensure M&E works are completed on time and according to required standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors on M&E matters.
• Lead and coordinate the site team to ensure work quality meets project requirements.
• Attend project meetings and assist in resolving technical issues.
• Ensure shop drawings, materials, and method statements are submitted and approved on schedule.
• Supervise M&E staff and subcontractors to ensure work follows approved drawings and plans.
• Monitor variation orders and report progress or issues to HQ.
• Participate in site inspections and troubleshoot M&E issues when required.
• Review drawings and specifications and raise RFIs where necessary.
• Coordinate and manage M&E matters during regular project meetings.
• Assist in resolving M&E issues during the DLP period.
• Support Design & Build (D&B) projects together with consultants and architects

Requirements

• Possess Min. Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Building & Services Engineer
• 15+ years experience in M&E within building & construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems
• Experience managing M&E works on construction sites
• Able to review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements
• Experience leading M&E engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Strong coordination with clients, consultants, and authorities
• Handle technical issues, RFIs, and site troubleshooting
• Experience with Variation Orders (VO), inspections, and progress reporting
• Exposure to Design & Build (D&B) projects and DLP stage
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and project schedule.
