- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from diverse stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and expectations.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize business needs and break down high-level requirements into detailed, actionable user stories.
- Convert business requirements into precise functional specifications, including descriptions of user workflows, data exchanges, and system behaviors.
- Partner with development teams to ensure the solution design aligns with functional requirements and supports business goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for functional domains, guiding development teams with insights into business processes and user needs.
- Evaluate existing internal and external solutions to assess their potential for reuse in meeting business needs.
- Participate in design discussions, considering technical constraints to ensure proposed solutions are both feasible and architecturally sound.
- Contribute to quality assurance by validating functional behavior during testing phases and offering production support.
- Assess the impact of functional modifications on existing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
- Support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices by supplying user scenarios and assisting with functional testing.
- Provide functional input for deployment planning and perform post-deployment validation activities.
- Mentor team members, train new joiners, and assist in resolving functional issues.
- Work closely with the Functional Architect to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the existing IT ecosystem.
- Contribute to specifications, effort estimation, planning, testing, and documentation throughout the solution lifecycle.
Build & Change Management - Analyze proposed enhancements and collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to recommend viable solutions.
- Prepare specifications, effort estimates, planning documents, test scenarios, and release documentation for each change.
- Coordinate and oversee user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Support monthly release cycles by adhering to team milestones for analysis, development, and testing.
- Assist in managing the release roadmap and ensure smooth transitions into the production environment.
Incident and Request Management - Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues and bugs raised by business users or other IT teams.
Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements to operational processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance & Testing - Develop and implement robust quality assurance strategies and frameworks tailored to the solution scope.
- Design detailed test plans and cases based on functional and technical documentation.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to enhance test efficiency and reusability.
- Conduct various testing types including functional, integration, regression, and performance tests; analyze failures and provide actionable recommendations.
- Champion early defect detection by promoting best practices and test-driven methodologies throughout the development cycle.
- Provide technical support to internal teams by addressing system issues, analyzing data, and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, including test outcomes, defects, and relevant observations; prepare summary reports for stakeholders and delivery teams.
Qualification: - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in business analysis and quality assurance testing.

Proven background in both functional and automation testing, with exposure to treasury desk operations.

Familiarity with front-office systems, whether proprietary or third-party solutions.

Strong knowledge of the full requirements lifecycle, including planning, monitoring, analysis, and design.

Experienced in acting as a key liaison between onshore business teams and offshore technical teams, as well as serving as the primary functional support for development.

In-depth understanding of treasury and investment banking products such as Money Market instruments (Loans/Deposits, Commercial Papers/CDs, Call Accounts), Bonds, FX (Spot, Forwards, Swaps), Derivatives (Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Options), and Equities.

Skilled in eliciting and managing requirements, with solid knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.

Strong grasp of financial instruments and the trade lifecycle, especially for fixed income and money market products, along with an understanding of risk management principles and market data.

Experience in integrating front- and back-office systems with external platforms.

Hands-on involvement in end-to-end implementation projects.

Demonstrated track record in Agile environments.

Technical proficiency in shell scripting and SQL/PLSQL, with preferred knowledge in .NET Core, Java, Azure DevOps, and test automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber.
