Business Analyst - Risk Management (Contract, Bank)

Main Responsibilities

Functional

• Strong understanding of risk domains including Deals, Authorizations, Guarantees, and Risk-Weighted Assets.

• Practical experience in generating Risk Reports, including data mapping and validation/testing of risk-related data.

• Evaluate business requirements and functional specifications, offering enhancements to boost efficiency and business outcomes.

• Skilled in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional Testing, and System Integration Testing for banking and financial systems.

• Handle change requests during implementation, coordinating closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.

• Monitor solution development progress, clarify requirements to developers, and ensure timely resolution of queries.

• Provide Level 3 application support, collaborating with Level 1 and 2 teams, and business units to maintain system stability and address issues.

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant domain.

• Solid understanding of Risk management principles and related processes.

• Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.

• Familiarity with project management practices and software development lifecycle is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and excellent organizational capabilities.

• Quick to respond, self-driven, and solution-oriented in resolving issues.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum tools is a plus.
