Basic Salary: $2300-$2800

Working Days: 5 days work week, including weekends and public holidays

Working Time: 11am - 9.30pm with two breaks (all other outlets) or 10am to 10pm with 2 breaks (Nex, Vivocity, Waterwaypoint, Starvista)

Benefit:

  • Sign-on bonus up to $600
  • Target Incentives up to $310
  • Gamification Incentive for top stores up to $160

Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store.
  • Greeting customers the moment they enter the store and making them feel welcome.
  • Perform cashiering function / Cashiering counter closing.
  • Be approachable and be a good listener in discovering customers needs.
  • Recommend a product and solution in meeting customers needs & objectives.
  • Generate interest through the sharing of product knowledge.
  • Keeping abreast of product knowledge through continuous learning.
  • Overcoming customers objections.
  • Upselling of pet accessories, toys etc.
  • Promote and market PLC membership sign-ups & renewals.
  • Provide tender loving care to small animals in the store.
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a pet retail shop or pet store is preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a retail assistant.
  • Comfortable with close interaction with pets (e.g., dogs, cats).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
