Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager by preparing documentation, facilitating meetings, and supporting day-to-day project operations.
- Develop detailed documentation and visual diagrams to convey business requirements and system changes to stakeholders, promoting effective execution.
- Provide robust support in managing tasks, timelines, communications, risks, vendors, and ensuring documentation quality.
- Contribute to managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, user acceptance, training, documentation, and deployment, following established project management methodologies.
- Gain a solid understanding of both business needs and the underlying system architecture and design.
- Promote a collaborative and accountable work environment that aligns with project goals and fosters effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Support the communication of project updates, including progress, status, and key decisions, to stakeholders and senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, and dependencies.
- Partner closely with the Project Lead, Owner, or Sponsor to drive key strategic initiatives in alignment with the organizations broader goals and roadmap.
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Possesses knowledge or hands-on experience in at least two of the following financial areas: Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), Derivatives (primarily Interest Rate Swaps and Cross Currency Swaps), Bonds, FAST/GIRO Payment, XB/MEPS Payments
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or within a Project Management Office (PMO) function.
- Proficient in developing clear and professional business process flow diagrams and system configuration visuals using tools such as PowerPoint and Excel. Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in multiple domains among the six financial areas listed above.
- Experience working on multinational projects or in globally distributed teams.
