Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Finance team.
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee statutory and management reporting, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, AP/AR.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports in compliance with financial standards and tax regulations.
- Prepare consolidated management reports and financial statements.
- Lead year-end statutory audits, including preparation of annual reports and audit documentation.
- Maintain robust internal controls and update financial policies regularly.
- Manage GST filing, withholding tax, corporate income tax review, and IRAS queries.
- Prepare financial analysis and presentations for senior management.
- Support annual budgeting and special projects (e.g., system implementation).
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/ISCA/CA qualification.
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of experience in leading a small team
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare industry will be a nice to have
