About the job Supply Chain Planning Engineer (Manufacturig)
Responsibilities:
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS) Establish the Master Production Schedule to dictate the sequence and cycle time of every operation. Ensure timeline alignment with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and customer delivery requirements.
- Workflow Orchestration & Tactical Scheduling Synchronize departmental production timelines by aligning manufacturing activities with established demand scheduling and predefined assembly sequences. Execute job demand loading in accordance with specific project requirements.
- Material Readiness & Pre-Flight Validation Conduct rigorous material readiness checks and verify the availability of all components and sub-assemblies to guarantee a zero-stoppage workflow across the assembly floor.
- Technical Process & Resource Analysis Acquire and evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) and plant capacity data to define optimal manufacturing routings. Identify the specific modules and specialized assembly processes required for complex equipment builds.
- Engineering Change (ECO) Execution Manage the immediate impact of
- Engineering Change Orders (ECO) on the shop floor. Coordinate the phase in/phase-out of parts to minimize scrap and ensure the most current technical revisions are integrated into active builds.
- Expediting & Variance Management Mitigate bottlenecks by expediting critical path operations that threaten the schedule. Perform real-time schedule recovery and updates when unforeseen disruptions or supply chain variances occur.
- Data Integrity & Management Reporting Generate and maintain high-fidelity reports for management review. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Plan vs. Actual (PVA) and schedule attainment.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree and above in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering
- 2 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, production planning, or supply chain planning
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Proficient in English & Mandarin both spoken and written
