Architecture Lead

Job brief

An Architecture Lead  is responsible for leading architectural design development and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver industrial, business park, or infrastructure projects under  design-and-build model. The role ensures architectural solutions meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and construction feasibility while integrating with engineering and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Design Leadership
• Lead the architectural design development from concept design through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Ensure architectural designs align with project requirements, client objectives, and company design standards.
• Develop design strategies that support functional, sustainable, and cost-efficient building solutions.
• Design Coordination & Integration
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and specialist engineering disciplines.
• Resolve design conflicts and constructability issues through design reviews and coordination meetings.
• Manage the integration of BIM models, drawings, and technical submissions across project teams.
• Project & Stakeholder Management
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure project progress and alignment.
• Lead design coordination meetings and present design proposals to stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and design documentation.
  4. Authority Compliance & Submissions
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations and authority requirements (e.g., BCA, URA, SCDF).
• Prepare and review architectural submissions, drawings, and reports for authority approvals.
• Construction Support
• Provide technical guidance to the construction and project management teams during implementation.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and design changes during construction.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or related field.
• 8–12+ years of architectural design experience, preferably in large-scale industrial or commercial developments.
• Registered Architect with Board of Architects (BOA) Singapore preferred.
• Strong experience with BIM / Revit / AutoCAD and design coordination.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building codes and authority submission processes.
