Remote Patient Coordinator | Concierge Medicine & Telehealth
Job Description
GoLean Health is hiring a proactive and highly organized Patient Coordinator to support a growing concierge medicine and telehealth practice.
This is a remote role for someone who can serve as the provider's virtual front desk and administrative support partner. You will help manage patient communication, scheduling, intake, follow-ups, lead outreach, and workflow organization.

This is not just a call-answering role. We need someone who can think ahead, protect the provider's calendar, organize moving pieces, and work independently without constant step-by-step direction.
Compensation and Schedule
Pay: $6 USD per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: US Eastern Time
Work Setup: Remote
Responsibilities
- Manage patient calls, emails, portal messages, website inquiries, missed calls, and voicemails
- Provide warm, polished, and professional communication for concierge patients
- Schedule telehealth, concierge, mobile, and follow-up appointments
- Manage the provider's calendar and help protect blocked time, travel time, and personal commitments
- Support new patient intake, onboarding, and follow-up tracking
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist with prior authorization tasks when needed
- Follow up with warm leads, former patients, referrals, and marketing inquiries
- Maintain a lead tracker for outreach, responses, next steps, and conversion status
- Queue prescription or refill requests in the EMR for provider review
- Use or learn PracticeQ for scheduling, records, and documentation support
- Input historical paper chart information into the EMR
- Identify workflow gaps and recommend simple process improvements
- Provide regular updates on completed tasks, pending items, and patient follow-ups
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or Patient Care Coordinator
- Prior experience supporting a US healthcare practice
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Polished, professional phone presence
- Strong executive presence and ability to represent the provider well
- Experience with scheduling, intake, patient calls, emails, and follow-ups
- Familiarity with insurance eligibility verification and prior authorization workflows
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, accountable, and proactive
- Able to anticipate needs, think ahead, and work with minimal hand-holding
- Comfortable working remotely and using productivity tools such as Time Doctor
- Reliable internet connection, quiet work environment, and dependable backup plan
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PracticeQ or a similar EMR system
- Experience providing executive support, calendar management, or administrative support for a provider, executive, or business owner
- Background in concierge medicine, telehealth, wellness, weight loss, urgent care, or primary care
- Experience with lead follow-up, patient reactivation, or marketing inquiry tracking
- Experience using Google Voice or cloud phone systems
