Network Engineer

Were seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer for a 6-month freelance assignment, with potential extension. You will support a team of 15 engineers in delivering large-scale B2B roll-outs. This role is hands-on and highly technical, requiring strong networking knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot in complex environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the IP services and field teams during B2B roll-outs

• Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues to ensure seamless service delivery

• Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of networking hardware including:

  • Cisco Catalyst

  • SD-WAN

  • Meraki (wireless, switching, SDN)

  • MPLS-VPN (Nokia core, HP CPE)

Requirements & Qualifications:

Must Have:

• CCNP certification or equivalent experience

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Experience with:

  • Cisco Catalyst

  • SD-WAN

  • Meraki

  • HP (Comware)

  • Nokia (SRoS, Nuage)

  • Linux

• CLI configuration and troubleshooting

• Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, switching)

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of French

• Understanding of network security principles

• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Self-starter and team player

• Willingness to occasionally work outside of standard office hours
