Were currently looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join the internal IT team of a major player in the mobility industry. This is a permanent internal role (no consultancy), focused on supporting a business-critical core application used daily by over 60 sales professionals across Belgium.

  • Communicate closely with the business (mainly sales teams) to understand and resolve functional and technical issues.

  • Ensure service continuity of the core system, which is central to quoting and contract management.

2. Production & Monitoring

  • Perform daily morning checks and proactive monitoring of the application/database performance.

  • Assist in the follow-up of changes in production and analyze system behavior after updates.

  • Occasional flexibility is required for after-hours support during production changes (not frequent, but must be anticipated).

  • At least 3 years of experience in application support (not helpdesk or infra).

  • Strong knowledge of SQL (able to query, analyze, and troubleshoot data).

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools, ideally Jira.

  • Comfortable working closely with business users (not just IT).

  • Language skills: English fluency, good command of French, and at least basic Dutch.

  • Team player with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with core applications used in complex, business-critical environments.

  • Experience with monitoring or basic understanding of production environments.

Team & Culture

  • Youll join a small, diverse team of 5 internal experts.

  • Office attendance: 2 days/week (Monday is fixed; second day is flexible).

  • The team culture values initiative, pragmatism, and clear communication with stakeholders.
