Mission Overview

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a Credit Policy at group level, focusing primarily on the Last Mile Business Unit and SME clients in the Benelux. Your core responsibility will be managing operational credit risk, while also contributing to the standardisation and automation of group-wide credit processes.

You will play a key role in:

  • Capturing aging reports from various group subsidiaries.

  • Encoding client data from subsidiaries into the Dun & Bradstreet tool (D&B).

  • Supporting the automation of credit workflows.

  • Providing financial advice to internal stakeholders based on credit analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and help implement a group-level Credit Policy across all subsidiaries.

  • Collect, validate, and centralize aging balances from group entities.

  • Encode and maintain customer credit profiles in D&B, ensuring data accuracy.

  • Perform creditworthiness assessments (credit limits, ratings, required guarantees).

  • Analyze balance sheets, solvency reports, and calculate financial ratios.

  • Provide actionable recommendations to the sales department regarding credit risk.

  • Support process automation and digitalization of the credit control workflow.

Your Profile

  • Masters degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent through experience.

  • Proven experience in Credit Risk Analysis and operational credit management.

  • Knowledge of credit tools such as D&B and aging report consolidation.

  • Strong understanding of financial ratios, balance sheet analysis, and credit decision-making.

  • Experience in similar projects or public sector is highly valued.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on and proactive attitude.

  • Strong communication skills and business acumen.

  • Fluent in Dutch, with solid knowledge of French and English.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with public clients

  • Previously implemented or contributed to credit policy rollouts.

  • Fluency in both national languages (Dutch & French) at a business level.
