Analytics Engineer

Role:
Act as an Analytics Engineer bridging business needs and technical solutions. Translate requirements into solution designs, data flows, and actionable work packages. You'll be involved in a process mining project focused on structuring event logs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and design end-to-end data flows

• Conduct source-to-target (S2T) analyses and document transformations

• Follow application changes and assess their impact on data products

• Review data model designs with scalability and applicability in mind

• Design logical data models and flows using quality-by-design principles

• Define user acceptance testing and semantic quality checks

• Support Data Engineers and perform code reviews and incident resolution

• Provide 3rd line support and coordinate issue handling

• Work with external data engineers for analyses and reviews

• Ensure the framework is scalable, robust, and cost-efficient

• Present designs to technical stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science or related field

• Strong experience in production data environments

• Expertise in:

  • Snowflake

  • SQL

  • Modern schedulers (Dagster, Airflow, etc.)

  • DBT (Data Build Tool)

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Strong statistical and analytical abilities

• Problem-solving mindset

• Framework design for combining data from different products

Must-have Skills:
