Security Specialist

Global healthcare company with strong security & compliance requirements (ISO 27001, cloud security, regulatory frameworks).
Need short-term support due to temporary capacity gap in security team.

Role
Hands-on Security Specialist / Security Engineer to support vulnerability management and technical security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret security scans (Nessus, dependency checks, etc.)

• Identify real vulnerabilities vs false positives

• Advise on patches, mitigations and risk levels

• Support incident analysis and reporting

• Help answer technical security questionnaires (RFPs, audits)

• Work closely with security governance lead

Profile

• Strong experience in technical security / vulnerability management

• Familiar with ISO 27001 environments

• Comfortable with tools like Nessus, vulnerability scanners

• Can work independently and on-demand

• Based in Belgium

• Healthcare experience is a plus, not required

Engagement

• Temporary / flexible consulting

• A few days per week or on-demand hours

• Possibility to extend or evolve into longer-term role
