About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with extensive Django experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of backend development efforts for scalable applications, playing a key role in the architecture, implementation, and optimization of robust software systems. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
• Lead backend architecture decisions and drive best practices across the team.
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle: planning, coding, testing, and deploying.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with performance and scalability in mind.
• Review and mentor junior developers code to ensure quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and Python/Django ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• 3+ years of strong, hands-on experience with Django in production environments.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database modeling, and backend architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience integrating third-party services and working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic level).
• Comfortable working in Agile teams using tools like Jira, GitHub, and Slack.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or other Python frameworks.
• Exposure to data processing, ETL pipelines, or ML model integration.
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or community involvement.
