Atlassian Administrator (Temporary Full-Time Project: 90-180 days)
We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize Atlassian toolsincluding Jira, Confluence, Compass, and Jira Service Management, to support collaboration and project management across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure these tools run smoothly, provide technical support, and implement improvements.
What you'll do:
- Configure and administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, etc.).
- Collaborate with teams to define and implement workflows, custom fields, screens, reports, and automation.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply solutions.
- Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated on Atlassian product releases and best practices to improve system efficiency.
- Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting.
- Work with IT and development teams to integrate Atlassian tools with other systems.
- Establish and enforce governance policies for tool usage.
What we are looking for:
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, etc.).
- Strong technical background in IT administration, system integration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience providing user support and training.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience managing permissions and settings.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting for system optimization.
- Solid documentation skills for recording configurations and processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR
- Atlassian Certified Professional.
Experience:
- 2-4 years in Atlassian administration or a similar system administration role.
