Senior/Lead Product Designer - Creators (Dublin)

Our client is a product-focused design company that empowers users to create visually compelling online content. Their product designers work closely with product managers and engineers in cross-functional teams where each member plays a crucial role in the success of the product.

We are seeking a Product Designer to lead the vision for one of their key mobile apps, which focuses on simplifying social media content creation and management. You will own the entire end-to-end design of a product with 1.6m+ active users, that drives significant revenue for the company. The role involves tackling complex problems related to content creation, from designing and styling to publishing, while enhancing user experience through intuitive workflows. You will be responsible for improving current features and developing new functionalities to redefine the products future.

This position reports to the Product Design Manager of the Creator team. The team functions as a startup within a well-funded organisation. Responsibilities:

• Approach product design holistically, considering the user journey and broader ecosystem.
• Develop elegant, thoughtful solutions to complex problems and communicate them clearly.
• Improve and push the evolution of our design language and systems.
• Understand the technical constraints and capabilities of the systems you work with.
• Lead strategy initiatives, including competitive research and identifying new opportunities.
• Participate in user research and testing to ensure usability and product consistency.
• Manage projects through their lifecycle, from concept to post-launch.
• Stay up to date with social media industry trends to help drive the product and brand forward.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the entire process to ensure alignment with goals and priorities.
• Contribute to product experience strategy, working with teams to define key metrics for tracking success.
• Collaborate across teams, including Marketing, Research, and Content Strategy, to deliver consistent, on-brand experiences.
• Mentor junior designers while remaining open to feedback from senior peers.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product design.
• Strong visual and user experience design skills.
  
• Experience owning an end-to-end solution.
• Strong prototyping expertise.
• Mobile-first approach and strong web design
  
• Experience working with + expanding upon design systems
• Expertise in service design, information architecture, and user experience methodologies like research, and testing.
• Strong storytelling ability and ability to communicate across technical + non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of information architecture.
• Aesthetic sensibility and appreciation for iterative development.
