Position Overview

Restaurant Staff are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests in accordance with cruise line standards. This role requires a strong commitment to service excellence, teamwork, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, multicultural maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests
  • Ensure all dining venues are prepared, clean, and set according to company standards
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, and beverage offerings
  • Uphold high standards of personal hygiene, food safety, and sanitation at all times
  • Follow company policies, health regulations, and maritime safety procedures
  • Handle guest requests, questions, and concerns courteously and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with galley, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and onboard duties as required
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance throughout all shifts

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices advantageous
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Must meet cruise line medical and maritime certification requirements
