KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit DIRECTOR AIR NAVIGATION SERVICES on behalf of our client in the Aviation Industry.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The DIRECTOR AIR NAVIGATION SERVICES will be responsible for providing efficient and effective air navigational services, meeting international standards in line with the industry best practice and set objectives of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Instrument Flight Procedures are in place at all airports (international and domestic)
  • Secure high standards of air traffic control and safety management systems with a cost-effective approach
  • Ensure Installations are maintained, and period checks carried out in accordance with company safety standards
  • Ensure Divisional operational and budget plans are prepared and implemented in accordance with company policy.
  • Determine financial, human, and other operating resources to support achievement of divisional plans.
  • Manage divisional operations according to set budgets.
  • Ensure Quarterly, Annual, and ad hoc progress reports on operational performance are prepared and submitted timely for decision making process
  • Ensure training are up to date for divisional staff to fill any existing competency gaps related to current business activities
  • Guide and influence employees by embedding the values and desired culture in line with company transformation strategy and business resilience practices; and
  • Drive a high-performance culture by taking accountability for effective and well-articulated performance management process and succession planning within the department.

Education & Experience

  • Full Grade Twelve (12) certificate or equivalent with Five (5) O' Level credits including English, Mathematics
  • Degree in any Engineering discipline from a reputable university.
  • A Master of Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • Air Traffic Control Certificate
  • A valid practicing certificate from the Engineering Institute of Zambia or other professional body At least 8 years' experience with 5 years at management level.
  • At least 8 years' experience with 5 years at management level.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is an added advantage.
