DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The Business Development & Training Specialist will be responsible for analyzing skills gaps to determine training needs, creating courses for individual or group trainings and overseeing the training budget. The Business Development & Training Specialist will also be responsible for  developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops training and development programs and objectives based on business goals
• Recommend new training methods
• Manage quarterly and annual training budgets
• Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
• Works effectively as a team member
• Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
• Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for training events
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing or any other related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience designing and implementing training development programs.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
• Must be a member a relevant professional bodies
