About the job Rural GP

Broughton Clinic provides medical services in the practice and at the Port Broughton District Hospital. The practice services a mostly elderly population and manages a full range of emergency presentations and supports GP registrar training.
The practice has onsite point of care testing and basic radiology, with lab and radiology clinics available in Port Pirie and Wallaroo.
The hospital is supported by SAVES (South Australian Virtual Emergency Service) for after-hours accident and emergency presentations.
Hours:
- Practice: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Hospital: 24-hour care
Qualifications considered / Experience
- Eligible for medical registration with AHPRA
- Recent emergency experience, or prepared to upskill
- Ability to gain credentials as a General Practitioner - GP Emergency Medicine
- Three years post specialist qualification experience as a GP/Family doctor
Desirable
- Vocational Registration

Port Broughton is a small coastal town located on the northern extent of South Australias Yorke Peninsula, close to the Southern Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley wineries and the Copper Coast.
