Mid Eyre Medical Practice is passionate about rural healthcare. Practices provides primary health care, hospital, and aged care services to the communities of Cleve, Kimba, Cowell, and Elliston.

The practice offers variety in patient profile, clinical scope and location and is supported by local experienced teams, practice nurses, administrative staff, and visiting specialist and allied health providers. An established network medical colleagues exists between practices.

Linked state hospitals are supported by SAVES (South Australian Virtual Emergency Service) which provides support for after-hours presentations.

Work hours:

  • Practice: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Hospitals: 1:4 roster for emergency afterhours at local hospitals

Qualifications considered

  • Eligible for medical registration with AHPRA
  • MBBS or equivalent and a specialist family medicine qualification
  • Recent emergency experience
  • Ability to gain credentials as a General Practitioner - GP Emergency Medicine

Desirable:

  • Vocational Registration
  • Knowledge of general practice in rural remote areas
  • Postgraduate qualification relevant to General Practice (e.g. Diploma of Child Health, Diploma in Obstetrics)

Location
