General Practitioner - MM1 & DPA

I am looking for UK/Irish/NZ/Malaysian trained GPs to join a great team in Deception Bay. They are committed to providing high-quality and accessible healthcare services to their local community and are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages

- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions

- Prescribe medications and provide ongoing management of chronic conditions

- Perform minor surgical procedures and provide emergency care when necessary

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families, providing them with compassionate and patient-centered care

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients

- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines

- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to gain this

- MM1 and DPA status eligible for expedited pathway and RACGP PEP specialist (substantial) applicants

- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a General Practitioner

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development activities
