Job Description:
GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for our client. This position will be working from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST and is applicable for Philippine-based candidates only. (There is a potential for a 4-hour overlap, for the right candidate once fully productive).
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a CPA license to support our clients growing portfolio by becoming a key member of the accounting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for all general accounting matters. This will include analyzing accounting activity for multiple general ledger accounts, driving process improvements, and supporting key audit and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Month-End Close: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for month-end close.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing internal and external financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Internal Controls: Evaluate and strengthen internal control procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Special Projects: Participate in various ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- CPA License: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years focused on general ledger accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in accounting software, with NetSuite experience preferred.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, general ledger principles, and payroll accounting concepts.
