GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Trucking Dispatcher. This position will work from 12:00 am to 9:00 AM PHT and applies only to Philippine-based legal residents and citizens.

Work time will shift to better hours over time.



Job Description 

The Trucking Dispatcher is responsible for managing daily freight operations, coordinating with drivers and carriers, and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of loads across the transportation network. This role requires strong multitasking skills, proactive communication, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in real time. The ideal candidate will have experience dispatching in the trucking or freight logistics industry, a strong understanding of DOT regulations, and the ability to manage scheduling, route planning, and load tracking across multiple time zones. This is a fast-paced, fully remote position that requires independent problem-solving, high attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate drivers and loads across various lanes and regions.
  • Monitor load pickups and deliveries, track driver locations, and adjust routes as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with drivers, brokers, and customers to provide load status updates.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts, weather delays, breakdowns, and load issues in real time.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch details, load tracking, delivery confirmations, and driver logs.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations related to hours of service and transportation documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage load bookings, carrier partnerships, and capacity planning.
  • Utilize dispatch software or TMS (Transportation Management System) to manage and document activity.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a trucking dispatcher or in a freight/logistics coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. trucking industry, DOT regulations, and common carrier requirements.
  • Familiarity with dispatch and routing software or TMS platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to problem-solve quickly in real time.
  • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable with remote communication tools like Slack, Zoom, or Teams.
  • Night shift availability and the ability to manage U.S.-based operations remotely.
  • Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free home working environment.
