 Job Description:

Description of work: For one of the biggest elevator companies in the world, we are looking for an experienced elevator mechanic who will become part of their installation and servicing team. 

  • You install components in elevator shafts
  • You install guides and doors
  • You assemble the lift motors and electrical components of the installations
  • You are responsible for the installation, final assembly, and hanging of doors, cabins, and counterweights
  • You assist with the inspection of the installations and resolve simple malfunctions during the construction phase
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and service visits on elevators in your region
  • Responding quickly and effectively to malfunctions, aiming to resolve the issue during the first visit
  • Carrying out minor repairs to ensure the proper functioning of installations


    • Experience needed: 

    • 3-5 years installing elevators in construction or servicing elevators
    • You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
    • You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
    • You are comfortable communicating to others
    • You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
    • You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
    Workers required: 4
    Working period: Long term (more than 6 months). 
    Selection procedure: New candidates can be sumbitted untill 5th of every month. Client accepts new candidates until 10th of the month to start on the 1st of the next month. 
    Hours: 40

    Gross hourly: EUR 20-25

    Approx net salary: EUR 700-800
    Certification:
    • VCA-B
    • NEN-3140 (Optional)
    • Drivers license B
    Language: English B2/C1
    Working days: Monday - Friday
    Type contract: Temporary Fase 1/2, Dutch
    Payment day: Weekly on Thursday
    Overtime: Paid

    Accommodation: Apartment, private Room, Rotterdam
    Transportation: Company car (with logo of client)

    Personal Protection: Workclothes paid yes, all PP provided by client
