Description of work:

Working in the heart of the repair department featuring a private harbor and two dry docks (400 and 800 tons)—you help ensure that vessels return to service safely, efficiently, and professionally. You will be involved in docking and undocking ships, propeller replacement, minor welding and metalwork, repairs to propulsion and steering systems, on-site installation of propeller shaft systems, damage repairs, and dock maintenance. Your work takes place on the slipway, in the dock, and at the quay, with varied tasks ranging from emergency repairs to large-scale maintenance projects. You will work with modern facilities and skilled professionals who share a passion for shipbuilding


Experience needed: 3 years as Dock Worker, docking, welding and metalwork, repairs. etc.

Working period: ASAP minimum 6 months

Hours: 38

Gross hourly: EUR 16 - 19

Approx net salary: EUR 590-700

Certification:

• VCA-B (optional, can be arranged by us)
• Drivers license B

Language: English B1/B2

Working days: Monday - Friday

Type contract: Temporary Fase 1/2, Dutch

Payment day: Weekly on Thursday

Overtime: Paid
