IP Developer (Remote Must Work Eastern Time Hours)

Contract Duration: 4 months
Weekly Hours: 1520 hours/week
Location: Remote (Open to international candidates able to work EST hours)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled IP Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of Business Process Management (BPM) IP solutions for NetSuite ERP. This part-time, contract-based position requires hands-on SuiteScript development and a strong understanding of NetSuite ERP systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design and build IP solutions for NetSuite ERP.

  • Perform hands-on development using SuiteScript for back-end customization.

  • Develop clear documentation including requirements, design documents, use cases, specifications, and test cases.

  • Maintain and enhance IP solutions alongside NetSuite upgrades and new feature releases.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to customers leveraging IP solutions in their NetSuite environments.

  • Utilize forms, fields, custom records, workflows, saved searches, and dashboards to align ERP functionality with business process needs.

  • Generate reports and develop custom reporting as needed.

  • Manage priorities, troubleshoot issues, and deliver independent technical work efficiently.

  • Complete additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP development and day-to-day platform management.

  • Proficiency in SuiteScript for backend customization.

  • Strong understanding of NetSuite workflows, reporting, saved searches, formulas, dashboards, and custom forms.

  • Experience developing business process documentation (requirements, design, test cases).

  • Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NetSuite Administrator or Consultant Certification.

  • Previous experience supporting BPM or IP solutions within NetSuite environments.

  • Familiarity with common business practices in finance, operations, and ERP processes.
