Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct Inspections: Perform detailed inspection Checklist of vehicles, including exterior body,

interior condition,

engine, transmission, brakes, tires, and all safety features.

Document Findings: Record all findings and issues discovered during inspections using

checklists and inspection forms. Ensure that all necessary information is accurately captured for

review.

Assess Vehicle Condition: Evaluate the overall condition of vehicles, noting any required

maintenance or

repairs, cosmetic imperfections, and safety compliance.

Collaborate with Technicians: Work alongside automotive technicians to communicate

inspection results

and facilitate repairs or maintenance as required.

Test Drive Vehicles: Conduct test drives to assess engine performance, braking systems, and

handling

characteristics to ensure the vehicle operates as expected.

Customer Interaction: Occasionally communicate findings to customers, providing explanations

regarding

the vehicle's condition and suggested maintenance or repairs if necessary.

Preventative Maintenance Knowledge: Stay informed about preventative maintenance practices

and

common issues affecting different makes and models to enhance inspection efficacy.

Compliance with Protocols: Follow all company policies and procedures for vehicle inspection

and safety to

maintain a secure working environment.

Report Preparation: Prepare and submit periodic reports detailing inspection results, common

issues

found, and any trends observed in vehicle performance.

Qualifications:
Education: automotive certification or related training is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, or automotive sales is a
plus.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, good analytical abilities, customer service skills, and familiarity
with
automotive terminology and technologies.
Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (A, A1, B, B1, B2, C, D,)
