PMO/Project Advisor

Grant Thornton Abdulaal Bahrain is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Advisor / PMO to join our team on a secondment contract. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with one of our highly reputable clients in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advisory and PMO oversight across multiple workstreams (legal, regulatory, finance, HR, IT)
• Establish governance frameworks, and KPIs
• Perform regular status reports and executive dashboards
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and project milestones
• Facilitate coordination across internal stakeholders and external advisors

Education & Experience:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering or a similar field is required, while a master's degree (such as an MBA) is preferred.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 are an added advantage.
• Candidate must currently reside in Bahrain.

Skills:

• Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in driving successful project planning, execution, monitoring, closing & reporting/ analyzing.
• Leadership & Communication: The ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership, board members and other stakeholders.
• Organizational skills: The role demands sound judgment across diverse situations, coupled with robust administrative and organizational capabilities, allowing for the effective management of multiple priorities.
• Financial Acumen: Experience of budget control and financial management as part of project delivery.

Duration:

• Upto 1 Year.
