Investment Vice President

The role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic investment decisions in distressed debt and private credit transactions. You will lead complex, high-profile deals and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the full investment lifecycle, from origination to portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment of complex investment opportunities, including distressed assets and special situation transactions.
• Oversee the creation of sophisticated financial models for valuation, scenario analysis, and capital structure optimization.
• Drive transaction structuring and underwriting processes, ensuring alignment with risk-return objectives.
• Prepare and deliver investment memoranda and recommendations to internal committees and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on market trends, portfolio performance, and emerging opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio companies, identify key performance drivers, and recommend value-enhancing strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, legal, operations, and risk to execute transactions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in investment banking, private investments, or asset management, with a proven track record in complex deal execution.
• Expertise in financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction structuring.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; fluency in English and Mandarin highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
