Fund Operations & Accounting, AVP/VP, Hong Kong

A well-established investment management firm is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to join its Fund Operations & Accounting team. This role offers broad exposure across fund operations, accounting, audit, and tax reporting for both investment vehicles and group entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle operations for funds and affiliated entities, including valuation, accounting, audits, and tax reporting.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

• Handle investor servicing (subscriptions, redemptions, and data requests) and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

• Liaise with banks, fund administrators, and service providers.

• Support system enhancements and process improvements; implement new operational and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications 

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years experience and strong consolidation expertise (Associate role available for less experienced candidates).

• Demonstrated stability with a minimum of 2 years at each previous employer.

• Prior exposure to fund management, especially private investments, listed investment holding companies, or REITs, is highly valued.

• Advanced Excel skills; VBA, database, or programming knowledge is a plus.

• Self-motivated, independent, and resilient under pressure.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.

• Strong interpersonal skills; thrives in a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
