Cheryl Hunter ( helps people and businesses get their messages out to the world on major media (think CNN, Fox News, CBS, Forbes Magazine, etc.) Cheryl is a bestselling author, speaker, and TV and podcast host who provides expert commentary for news sources such as Dr. Oz, NBC, Fox News, CNN, Dr. Phil, and PBS.

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful assistant to support our team. You must be an independent and imaginative self-starter and align with our core values of creating impact, connecting with heart and authority, making it great, and leading by example.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and responding to daily Slack communications.
  • Managing multiple email inboxes, ensuring they are handled, sorted, and organized efficiently.
  • Coordinating calendar and scheduling demands to ensure priorities are met.
  • Managing floating task lists for the business owner and the Director of Operations to ensure priority items are completed.
  • Assisting in special projects, including clear communication of project requirements and follow-up to ensure timely completion.
  • Organizing and updating G-Drive folders and files, archiving Zoom recordings, and managing social media postings.
  • Be the gatekeeper for tasks and complete weekly tasks as assigned.
  • Create simple Canva designs and PowerPoints.
  • Perform data entry and publish content as needed.
  • Manage social media postings and basic engagement tasks.

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

  • Exceptional communicator with strong note-taking ability.

You must be experienced with the following tools:

  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Knowing these tools is a plus! If not, you must come ready to learn them quickly:

  • Slack
  • Canva
  • AWeber
  • Facebook pages and groups for a business,
  • Facebook ads (Basic Knowledge)

Position Details

  • This is a remote 1099 contractor position.
  • The position will start with 20-25 hours per week, with the potential for the hours to grow to full-time, with the right person.
  • Flexible hours on Monday - Friday between 7:00 am - 12:00 pm PST.
  • The pay rate for this position is $23/hr. USD.
  • You must have or be willing to obtain an LLC or S-Corp. If you do not have one you must begin the process to obtain one before being hired.
  • You must be able to pass a background check
