Marcos Independent Franchisee Association (MIFA) aims to enhance Marcos brand and its members' businesses through structured communication, collaboration, education, and negotiation. MIFA supports the sustainable growth of Marco's brand and the individual businesses of its members.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our team. You will be an essential part of our team, playing a crucial role in supporting our President and board members and ensuring smooth operations, directly impacting our efficiency and success.

As our Executive Assistant, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Take comprehensive notes during board meetings and key discussions
  • Support and coordinate board meetings, ensuring effective participation and sharing notes
  • Maintain accountability among board members for tasks and deadlines
  • Ensure quick and seamless onboarding for members and vendors
  • Track membership data, provide regular updates, and pull reports
  • Assist in creating and distributing newsletters
  • Manage communication with vendors and suppliers
  • Handle and organize emails efficiently
  • Coordinate events, including booking accommodations and ensuring attendees are registered
  • Provide membership customer service

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

Position Details:

  • This is a W2 or 1099 remote position - depending on your preference
  • The position will be 30 hours a week with the potential to grow to 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 AM - 5 PM EST
  • The pay rate is $22/hour, with an increase after a 60-day performance review
  • We are looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member.
