We are seeking a Virtual Assistant who embodies these core values to support our CEO Jonny Meechan, a family man and a passionate leader. The ideal candidate will have a range of responsibilities, including:

• Managing Jonny's calendar for daily schedule efficiency.

• Handling email inbox and communications.

• Implementing operational projects into Monday.com.

• Conducting light bookkeeping and financial reporting.

• Compiling reports from various team departments.

• Managing minor tech tasks and web page updates.

• Assisting in research and overseeing legal/compliance matters.

• Preparing a weekly CEO newsletter using ChatGPT.

• Aiding in invoice management and payables.

• Supporting Jonny in workload delegation.

Your primary goal is to act as Jonny's gatekeeper, ensuring he remains organized and on track. As his assistant, you'll play a key part in efficiently managing his time, enabling him to focus on 'being the coach' and effectively delegating 80% of his workload across the company.

• In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
• An independent self-starter who takes initiative.
• Timely, detail-oriented, and unafraid to ask questions.
• Ability to push Jonny to save time and prioritize family.
• Grounded, with a focus on problem-solving and achieving outcomes.

• Understands and values the importance of family, aligning with Jonny's family-first approach for a smooth work relationship.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools and software quickly.
• Creating systems, processes, and SOPs to enhance business efficiency.
• Shares a deep desire to become a better version of themselves daily.

You must come ready to learn and use the following tools quickly:

• Google Suite (Drive, Calendar, Gmail)

• Slack

• Active Campaign

• Monday.com

• Xero

Position Details

• This is a 1099 contractor position.
• The position will start with 20-25 hours, potentially growing to 30-40 hours/week.
• Start time is at 10 am PT with flexibility during the day. You will work with Jonny to determine the best times to work throughout the day.
• Jonny Meechan is located in New Zealand but operates on PST hours, so you must be prepared to work within this time zone.
• The pay rate for this position is $23/hr. USD.
• Benefits include PTO, Sick Time, and Paid Holidays.
