The Opportunity

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you'll assess communication and swallowing needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and help residents regain independence. This is a direct hire, full-time position, and CFY candidates are welcome to apply.

Your Day-to-Day
- Evaluate residents' speech and language needs and create individualized treatment plans tailored to their goals
- Design and implement therapeutic activities that improve residents' independence in daily communication and swallowing functions
- Monitor resident progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and prepare detailed progress reports
- Support rehabilitation efforts for residents affected by injury, illness, or other medical conditions
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of resident care and audit department records as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Uphold a clean, safe, and supportive environment while maintaining confidentiality of all resident information
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program
- Licensing: Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
- Experience: Prior experience is preferred but not required; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
