Your Day-to-Day
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs
- Provide therapy to address speech, language, voice, and swallowing impairments
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and rehab staff to deliver quality care
- Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and communicate with families about resident progress
- Conduct and coordinate audiometric screenings and make appropriate referrals
- Help train facility staff and contribute to in-service education efforts
- Follow all safety and compliance policies with professionalism and compassion
What We're Looking For
- M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York State license (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA CCC preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team-oriented mindset and dedication to resident-centered care
