The Opportunity
You'll help residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility improve their mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life. This full-time, direct hire position allows you to evaluate and treat residents using individualized physical rehabilitation plans that deliver long-term health benefits. You'll work alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team committed to compassionate, high-quality care in a safe and welcoming environment.

Your Day-to-Day
- Evaluate residents' conditions and develop individualized physical rehabilitation plans
- Help residents improve mobility and functional independence through exercises, hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices
- Relieve pain and guide residents through therapy tasks while monitoring their performance and progress
- Inform residents about what to expect at different stages of recovery
- Assist residents in using physical therapy equipment effectively
- Supervise physical therapy assistants when required
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
- Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure comprehensive resident care
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current New York State PT License
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
